NM1LE series residual current operated circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as residual current
operated circuit breaker) is one of the new residual current operated circuit breakers designed and
developed by our company with international advanced technology. It is suitable for circuits with AC
50Hz, rated voltage to 400V and rated current of 16A to 800A A.
Its main function is to provide indirect contact protection for fatal personal electric shock. Residual
current operated circuit breakers with rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA can also be
used as supplementary protection for direct contact when other protection measures fail, but cannot be
used as the only direct contact protection. At the same time, it can also be used to prevent electrical
fire caused by contact with fault current. It can be used to protect the overload and short circuit of
the line, and can also be used for infrequent switching of the line.
¡El residual current operated circuit breaker has the advantages of small size (equal to that of the
corresponding molded case circuit breaker), high breaking height, short arcing and residual operating
current, and can be equipped with alarm contacts, shunt release, under-voltage release, auxiliary
contacts, rotating handle operating mechanism, electric operating mechanism and other accessories,
and can adopt various wiring modes such as front board, back board and plug-in, which is an ideal
product for users.
Residual current operated circuit breakers can be installed vertically (i.e. vertically) or horizontally
(i.e. horizontally).
There are four types of neutral pole (n) of four-pole circuit breaker:
Type a: the n pole is not equipped with overcurrent tripping element, and the n pole is always on, and
does not close with other three poles;
Type b: the n pole is not equipped with overcurrent tripping element, and the n pole is closed and divided
together with other three poles (the n pole is closed first and then divided);
Type c: the n pole is equipped with an overcurrent tripping element, and the n pole is closed and divided
together with the other three poles (the n pole is closed first and then divided);
Type d: the n pole is equipped with overcurrent tripping element, and the n pole is always on, and does not
open or close with other three poles.
Normal working conditions and installation conditions
Ambient air temperature
¡El upper limit of ambient air temperature is+40℃;
¡El lower limit of ambient air temperature is-5℃;
¡El average value of ambient air temperature within 24h shall not exceed +35℃.
Elevation: the elevation of the installation site shall not exceed 2000m.
Pollution level: 3.
Installation category: ⅲ.
Atmospheric conditions: the relative humidity of the atmosphere shall not exceed 50% when the ambient
air temperature is +40℃; It can have higher relative humidity at lower temperature;
¡El monthly average maximum relative humidity in the wettest month is 90%, and the monthly average minimum
temperature in this month is +20℃, taking into account the condensation on the product surface due to temperature change.
External magnetic field: the external magnetic field near the installation site of residual current operated
circuit breaker shall not exceed 5 times of the earth magnetic field in any direction.
